Aaron Bosgraaf - Owner
Aaron Bosgraaf - Owner
Received his degree from Michigan State University in Horticulture with a focus on Landscape Design, Construction, and Management. He has been in the industry since 2011 when he started the beginnings of Turf Surf & Stone which at the time was called Turf and Surf LawnCare, which focused on lawn care and lasting customer service. After 2 years Aaron closed Turf and Surf LawnCare to new clients to go work for a high-end residential landscape company in northern Michigan where he discovered his love for outdoor kitchens, patios and natural rock work. Upon returning from working for this company Aaron reopened Turf and Surf LawnCare with the new name Turf Surf & Stone Landscaping to focus on his love and dedication to these elements.
Aaron loves to spend time when not working, enjoying all that West Michigan has to offer, be it hiking the dunes, or picking apples at one of the local orchards. He also enjoys watching Michigan State Spartans play football and basketball.
Aaron is a Michigan Nursery and Landscape Certified Green Industry Professional, Michigan Department and Natural Resources Certified Pesticide Applicator. And recipient of a Young Entrepreneur Award from the National Federation Of Independent Businesses
Shelby Bosgraaf - Administrative Assistant
Received her degree from Davenport University in General Business. Shelby has always taken great pride in business and is a great addition to Turf Surf & Stone. She has worked for J & H Oil Company, Grandville Pediatric dentistry and Bosgraaf Homes where she was an important team member to their office staff. More recently she worked a summer at Landscape Impressions a landscape and nursery company. Here she discovered her love for the Green Industry as she oversaw the nursery operation and assisted crews on landscape installations.
On long weekends and times away from work Shelby can be found spending time enjoying the scenery of Michigan while camping with family and friends. When home she enjoys baking, including peach cobbler with local peaches that grow bountiful along the Lake Michigan shoreline. In addition to her love for the outdoors she likes to take drives discovering small towns and local treasures along the way. Like Aaron she too enjoys watching the Spartans play football and travels to multiple games a year.
